Mozart’s lost composition
A recently discovered Mozart musical score is performed to the public for the first time in Nantes, France.
Composed for a mass, the music was discovered in 2007 in a private collection in the city.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart left more than six hundred works, many acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, concertante, chamber, piano, operatic, and choral music; and he is among the most popular of classical composers.
He was born in Salzburg, capital of the sovereign Archbishopric of Salzburg, in what is now Austria. He died in 1791 at the age of 35.
