MTV gives nod to ‘Jersey Shore’ Season 3

The storm is officially over. The latest weather forecast over at the waters of the MTV show Jersey Shore will be predictably calm and peaceful.

After rumors that the show’s cast is out on strike, MTV has finally announced that the hit reality show Jersey Shore is granted a nod for its third season. This is great news to the fans of “The Situation“, Snooki, Pauly D, Jwoww, Ronnie, Sammy, and Vinny.

In a statement released at MTV.com, a representative stated “MTV is pleased that the Jersey Shore cast are returning to Seaside Heights to continue production on Season 3. Not only have they become a part of the MTV family, but fans worldwide have fallen in love with them. Stay tuned for ‘Jersey Shore’ Season 2 on July 29th.”

It was reported however, that Angelina will not be part of the cast on season 3.

When the cast had shot the first season, they were each reportedly paid $5,000 per episode. On the second season, they were given a heftier paycheck of $10,000. The third season poses more dough for the cast members as each is pegged to take home $30,000 per episode.
