White House Gate Crasher Joins Reality Show
Michaele Salahi, the one who gatecrashed a White House state dinner last November, has been cast in the upcoming reality show The Real Housewives of D.C.
Michaele and husband Tareq showed up in the state dinner for India Prime Minister Manmohan Singh uninvited. This caused a review of the security measures at the American president residence. The couple is still reiterating up until today that they have been invited to the event.
Rumors back then abound that the couple made that stunt as they were applying to be contestants in a reality show. Then the announcement of Michaele joining the show last Tuesday, June 15, came up. US cable channel Bravo insisted that the casting was already done way before the state dinner occurred.
The Real Housewives series has already been running installments for Orange County, New York, Atlanta and New Jersey. An installment for Beverly Hills is slated for late fall this year. The D.C. installment premiers August 5.
