NASA has confirmed that there is a “significant” amount of water on the moon.

The space agency’s Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS), along with a companion rocket stage made twin impacts in Cabeus crater last month. The analysis of the cloud of debris thrown up by the missile’s impact confirmed the presence of water in the form of ice.

Actually this news is quite boring because India has made this announcement two months ago. I’m still waiting for that big revelation and I’m pretty sure NASA knows what I’m talking about.
