It was Kobe Bryant who led the Lakers with 29 points to achieve a 91-84 Game 3 victory on Tuesday but Derek Fisher was the one who delivered some crucial points in the final quarter. Fisher’s offense saved the day for the Lakers, as he converts 11 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter.

“We didn’t doubt our ability to win here, even though we hadn’t done it in the playoffs,” Derek Fisher said. “We understand that in order to be the best, you have to win wherever, whenever.”

Boston coach Doc Rivers acknowledge what Fisher has done in Game 3.

“Derek Fisher was the difference in the game,” Rivers said “He’s just a gutty, gritty player. Fisher basically took the game over.”

Game 4 of the 2010 NBA Finals will return to TD Garden in Boston. The game starts at 9:00 am ET.

UPDATE: The Celtics have equalized the series after a 96-89 Game 4 win against the Lakers. Series tied 2-2.
