NBA Finals Live Stream – Lakers vs Celtics: Now we’re about to see the Finals! For a number of times we’ve seen the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics met for the NBA Finals. Well, 11 times in the past to be exact and now for the 12th time, these long-time rivals will face each other again beginning Thursday evening, June 3.
The Lakers were the number one seed in the West with a season record of 57-25 while the Celtics were seeded number four in the East with season record of 50-32. These two teams met in the regular season twice and came out tied, both winning with just a one point difference. When they first met in January, the Lakers defeated the Celtics 90-89 but in their second encounter, Boston won, 87-86.
Prediction: Home court advantage will be very crucial in this series. With the Lakers playing the first two games at home, they will have a significant advantage over the Celtics. In this year’s Playoffs, the Lakers are 8-0 at Staples Center and we all know that when the Lakers win the first two games of any best-of-seven series, they always end up winning. But, the truth is we can’t judge a series by just statistics, in the end the players and the coaches will make or break this opportunity to become once again the NBA Champions. Lakers in 7.
