The U.S. Government unveiled on Wednesday the new 100 dollar bill. The overhauled note was unveiled by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

The presentation of the new bill is the first step to educate the public about the 100 dollar bill changes before it begins circulating on February 10, 2011. The move to change the $100 bill is to help people specially americans to stay ahead of counterfeiters.

As you can see in the picture above, Benjamin Franklin is still on the C-note but with a disappearing Liberty Bell on his right and a bright blue security ribbon in which, according to reports, is “composed of thousands of tiny lenses that magnify objects in mysterious ways. Move the bill, and the objects move in a different direction.”
