New York will host their bitter division rival Dallas this afternoon (4:15 ET) at Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands.

The Giants need a victory to stay in the competitive NFC playoff scenario, while the Cowboys can pretty much wrap up a playoff spot if they win today.

While Dallas hasn’t been in great form over the last few weeks, they’ve still won 6 of their last 7 games.The Cowboys are also hoping Tony Romo can solve his late-season woes as they try to take a major step toward the NFC East title.

These two teams don’t like each other, so you can bet that today’s game will be a good one.

UPDATE: Brandon Jacobs teamed with Eli Manning on a 74-yard touchdown pass and Domenik Hixon dashed 79 yards on a punt return to help the Giants beat the Cowboys, 31-24.

However, the Cowboys’ defeat cannot fall on the shoulders of Romo. He was 41 of 55 passing, good for 392 yards and 3 touchdowns.
