NHL Playoffs: Philadelphia Flyers vs. Boston Bruins Live Stream Game 4 (Free Online Video)
Flyers vs. Bruins Game 4 Live Stream: The Boston Bruins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers, 4-1, on Wednesday that lifted Claude Julien’s side to a commanding 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series. Only two teams in NHL history have ever come back from an 0-3 deficit to win a best-of-seven, the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs and the 1975 New York Islanders, so this is a must win situation for Philadelphia.
A victory for the sixth-seeded Bruins tonight at Wachovia Center would put them into their first conference finals in nearly two decades. They won the first two games of this series on home ice, posting each win by one goal, and then delivered a 4-1 triumph in Game 3. Boston’s 3-0 series lead is remarkable when you consider that Zdeno Chara and co. struggled to make it to the playoffs and lost 10 straight at home.
Meanwhile, David Krejci will miss the rest of the postseason after suffering a dislocated right wrist Wednesday in Philadelphia. The loss of the 24-year-old centre from Czechoslovakia means more time for Marc Savard, who skated just under 18 minutes in Game 3 and took Krejci’s place on the penalty kill.
Simon Gagne, who fractured his foot while blocking a shot in the first-round, will be in the lineup tonight for Philadelphia. While he admitted that he is not 100%, the 30-year-old left winger said with his team on the brink of elimination, he would push himself to play.
“We’re up against the wall right now and we have no choice,” the alternate captain said. “We have to win one game at a time and time is closing in on us.”
The match kicks-off at 7:00 p.m. ET.
UPDATE: Simon Gagne scored an overtime goal to give Philadelphia a 5-4 win over Boston and stave off elimination before a roaring crowd at the Wachovia Center. You can watch GAME 5 HERE.
