Steve_JobsSteve Jobs, the very secretive innovator behind the rise of Apple, has finally agreed to come out of his comfort zone and reveal something about his personal life in an official biography set for a 2012 release.

Publishing company Simon & Schuster said Jobs has agreed to publish the biography, which will be written by renowned biographer and Time magazine managing editor Walter Isaacson. Simon & Schuster said in a statement that the book will be called “iSteve: The Book of Jobs” and will have for its main materials interviews conducted during the past several years. Isaacson is not new to writing the life story of famous people, as he has also penned biographies of Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, and Henry Kissinger.

Jobs, whose genius is credited for bringing to the market devices like the iPhone and iPad, has been tight-lipped when it comes to his personal life, especially about his health. The 56-year-old Apple CEO has had several medical scares over the past several years, including a battle with pancreatic cancer in 2004.
