France Telecom/Orange executive Stephane Richard has confirmed the arrival of Apple Tablet in the coming weeks. He immediately answered “Yes!” when asked if the iPhone tablet is underway, in a French TV interview Monday.
In the video below, Richard responded “Oui!” when journalist Jean-Pierre Elkabbach asked him if the Apple tablet rumors are true. And when questioned if the tablet will be available for Orange customers, Richard replied, “Of course.” He also confirmed that the tablet will be equipped with a webcam.

Here’s a translation of the exchange:
Elkabbach: According to weekly Le Point, in a couple of days Apple will be launching its tablet computer…
Elkabbach: …equipped with a webcam.
Elkabbach: Are Orange customers going to be able to enjoy it?
Richard: Of course!
With Orange’s involvement with the Apple tablet, the question now is: Are we looking at a possible cell plan for the device like that of the iPhone?
We’re not sure at this point until Apple confirms it. If the rumors are true, expect the Apple tablet to be unveiled on January 27.
