Oscars 2010: Sandra Bullock’s Oscar Acceptance Speech (video)

Sandra Bullock won an Oscar Best Actress award for her role as Leigh Ann Tuohy in the movie, “The Blind Side”.

In her speech Bullock said, “what this film was about for me, which are the moms that take care of the babies and the children no matter where they come from.” Also, she gave her thanks to her mother “for not letting me ride in cars with boys until I was 18, because she was right. I would have done what she said I was gonna do.”

Bullock also won the “Worst Actress” trophy at the Golden Raspberry Awards (aka Razzie) a day earlier for the comedy “All About Steve”.

Other big winners at the 82nd Academy Awards were “The Hurt Locker” (Best Picture), Kathtryn Bigelow (Best Director – The Hurt Locker), and Jeff Bridges (Best Actor – Crazy Heart).
