Tim Cook, Apple’s chief executive, unveiled the handset on Tuesday at an invitation-only event at the company’s Cupertino headquarters. The announcement marks the first time the 50-year-old CEO introduced a new product since Steve Jobs resigned in August.
Apple has officially announced the next iteration to the iPhone, the iPhone 4S. The device looks nothing different from its predecessors but it has a dual-core A5 CPU that said to be “2x as fast at CPU tasks” and a dual-core graphics chip that can be “7x faster than the previous iPhone”.
