Palin Says Obama Speech Full of “WTF” Moments
Going by Sarah Palin‘s analysis, U.S. President Barack Obama‘s second State of the Union speech was a big “WTF.”
In a Fox News interview with Greta Van Susteren, Palin said that there were “a lot of WTF moments” in Obama’s speech on Tuesday, an apparent dig on the president’s new battle slogan, “Winning the Future.” “His theme last night in the Speaker of the House was the “WTF,” you know, “Winning the Future.” And I thought, “OK, that acronym, spot on,” Palin said referring to the acronym that people usually use to avoid mentioning the dreaded F-word.
One of the “WTF” moments that Palin was referring to was Obama’s discussion of America’s multitrillion-dollar debt. “There were a lot of “WTF” moments throughout that speech, namely, when he made the statement…that he believed that we can’t allow ourselves to, I guess, eventually become buried under a mountain of debt.”
Obama’s SOTU speech, his second since assuming office in 2009 and third time to address the joint Congress session, drew close to 42.8 million viewers, down from over 48 million last year, according to a Nielsen survey.
