Pamela Anderson Cut from DWTS

Pamela Anderson failed to convince viewers to keep her and partner Damian Whitewood for another week on “Dancing with the Stars” despite a respectable performance on Monday. Anderson and Whitewood were booted out on Tuesday although they received generally positive comments from the judges for their waltz on Monday. Anderson and Whitewood received 24 points out of 30 for their waltz last night.

Actress Niecy Nash and her professional partner received the lowest score on Monday but they apparently attracted more votes than the Anderson-Whitewood partnership. Anderson, famous for her “Baywatch” role, considered her DWTS stint “one of the best experiences of my life.”

Aside from Nash, the celebrity contestants remaining are football star Chad Ochocinco, sportscaster Erin Andrews, Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger, and Olympic skater Evan Lysacek. Scherzinger and Lysacek are considered the top two contenders. The remaining contestants will perform two dances next week.

Anderson follows the fate suffered by reality stars Jake Pavelka and Kate Gosselin, actors Shannen Doherty and Aiden Turner, and famous astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
