Paris Hilton Denies Marijuana Arrest Report
Paris Hilton has denied recent reports that she was arrested for marijuana possession when she arrived on the French region of Corsica, dismissing the reports as nothing but falls rumors. The hotel heiress took to Twitter over the weekend, saying in one post that “just to put an end to these rumors. The stories saying I have been arrested are completely false!”
Hilton made the denial on the heels of a report by a local newspaper, citing police sources, that the heiress was briefly held after authorities found a small amount of cannabis in her bag a few minutes after her private jet landed in Figari airport. She was later released without charges, reports said.
To prove that she was all about having clean summer fan, Hilton posted some photographs of her enjoying her vacation in her own luxury yacht. “Our yacht is incredible! Has its own pool, hot tub, movie theatre, recording studio, spa/massage room, gym, arcade room, helicopter pad and the most beautiful bedrooms and decor,” she said.
It was the second time in less than a month that Hilton has been reported to have been caught with marijuana. Hilton and a friend were arrested in South Africa earlier this month after they allegedly smoked pot during a World Cup match.
