Pattinson Says ‘Eclipse’ is Like a Horror Film; Admits Seeing ‘Twilight’ Only Recently
Robert Pattinson revealed that the upcoming installment of The Twilight Saga film franchise would be more like a horror movie rather than a fantasy flick. He also revealed that he had just watched the first installment for the first time in television a few weeks ago.
The first installment was released in 2008. At a media conference for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the heartthrob said, “I just saw Twilight on TV for the first time.” He said that it was also the first time he heard the song he composed for the soundtrack, an experience he described as being “bizarre.”
In another interview, the actor said that “All the kinds of fight scenes that are in New Moon, they’re, like, real fights now [in Eclipse]. They’re not, like, fantasy things. It’s like a horror film!”
The film may seem look like one, considering that the director is David Slade, who was at the helm of 30 Days of Night.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse hits theaters June 30.
