Pennsylvania Labor Department Approves Gosselin Brood to Appear in Mom’s New Show
The Labor Department of the state of Pennsylvania has approved the eight Gosselin brothers and sisters to appear alongside their mother Kate Gosselin in her new show Kate Plus 8.
“The proper steps have been taken and the kids are permitted for Kate Plus 8,” said an official. The show is a spin-off from the series Jon & Kate Plus 8. Jon Gosselin will no longer be a part of the new show.
However, no paperwork has been approved for Kate’s other new show Twist of Kate, an interactive, fan letter based show.
The state also instructed Kate that she must put 15% of her earnings from the show as a trust fund for the children.
TMZ reports that the eight children does not have a permit when they were filmed for Jon & Kate Plus 8. TLC also denied claims that they have manipulated the kids during the first series as alleged by Kevin Kreider, Kate’s brother.
