Pre-order of the latest Apple product starts at 5:30 AM Pacific – 8:30 Eastern on Friday, March 12.iPad

The iPad is coming to the United States on April 3. However, only the wi-fi version will be available for pre-order. The 3G version will only be available on late April. The product can either be home delivered or be picked up in stores.

Prices for the wi-fi version are $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB and $699 for 64GB.

The iPad has a 9.7-inch (25 cm) LED backlit multi-touch display with a pixel resolution of 1024×768, 16 to 64 gigabytes (GB) of flash memory, a 1-gigahertz (GHz) Apple A4 processor, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 30-pin dock connector to sync with iTunes and connect wired accessories. It will be supported exclusively by AT&T in the United States.

International customers will have to wait until late April to order the iPad.

Many critics are saying that the first day of the pre-order sales will finally measure the product’s success.
