Premier League: Arsenal vs. Hull City
The Gunners host Hull City and will have to make do without their central midfielder Cesc Fabregas. The Spaniard hobbled off in the first half of Wednesday’s 1-1 draw at Burnley shortly after scoring, and according to Arsene Wenger, he should be out for at least 8 to 10 days.
Today, Arsenal will have revenge in mind after losing to the Tigers at the Emirates Stadium last season. Hull defeated the North Londoners 2-1 with a superb goal from Geovanni and a brilliant header from Daniel Cousin that wiped out Paul McShane’s unfortunate own goal.
The Gunners were also held to a disappointing draw by Burnley at Turf Moor on Wednesday, and therefore need to make up that lost ground in the title race by making the most of home advantage against the Tigers.
The match kicks-off at 17:30 GMT.
UPDATE: Arsenal 3-0 Hull City Goals from Denilson, Eduardo and Abou Diaby gave the Gunners a comfortable win over Hull City to move back into third place in the English Premier League.
