Premier League: Arsenal vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal takes on their bitter North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium today in another exciting English Premier League clash.

The Gunners returned to their winning form Wednesday night in Carling Cup beating Liverpool 2-1 in their fourth round clash of the tournament.

Tottenham’s defeat against Stoke City at home came as a surprise but having conceded three against the Blues and the Red Devils, we see no reason why Arsenal should not do the same.

The Gunners will be without Denilson, Johan Djourou, Tomas Rosicky, Theo Walcott, Lukasz Fabianski and Jack Wilshere because of injuries, but Manuel Almunia returns to first team contention for the first time since September.

The Spurs also have several players out of action including Aaron Lennon , Giovani dos Santos and Luka Modric.

The match kicks-off at 12:45 pm (8:45 am ET).

UPDATE: Striker Robin van Persie scored twice against Tottenham in a 3-0 Arsenal victory on Saturday.
