Aston Villa vs Sunderland Live Stream Premier LeagueAston Villa will try to close on the top four when they clash against Sunderland for the Barclays Premier League on Wednesday, March 24, at Villa Park.

Aston Villa are currently at the seventh spot in the Premier League table with just five points off fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur. They are hoping to get the maximum points against Sunderland and close the gap on their rivals on Wednesday.

The squad have the only unbeaten Premier League record this year but six out of their last nine games ended up in a draw. Sunderland on the other hand managed to get two wins and two draws from their last four outings. On the side note, they have lost their last three league meetings against the Aston Villa.

Villa will playing without striker Gabriel Agbonlahor who is still struggling with a foot injury that he suffered while in training last week. For Sunderland, skipper Lorik Cana returns from a two-match suspension for reaching 10 bookings for the season.
Sunderland on the other hand managed to get two wins and two draws from their last four outings. On the side note, the Black Cats have lost their last three league fixtures against the Villans.

The match kicks-off at 19:45 GMT.

UPDATE: Aston Villa and Sunderland played out a draw 1-1 at Villa Park on Wednesday.
