Premier League: Chelsea vs. Bolton Wanderers

These two teams met in the Carling Cup during midweek at Stamford Bridge and the Blues won 4-0. Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti will be looking for a repeat performance as they try and keep their place at the top of the Premier League table.

In a recent interview, Ancelotti said he will stick with his ‘diamond’ formation at Reebok Stadium this afternoon as the West Londoners look to end their away-day blues.

“The last two matches away were not good for us, but we don’t want to change because of that, he said. “This system is very good away from home.”

Jussi Jaaskelainen and Kevin Davies return for Bolton after missing Wednesday’s defeat to the Blues.

Ancelotti will recall John Terry, Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and the rest of Chelsea’s star players after they were rested during the cup.

The match kicks-off at 3:00 pm (11:00 am ET).

UPDATE: Chelsea defeated Bolton 4-0 for the second time this week as they stayed on top of the Premier League standings with a comfortable win at the Reebok Stadium.
