Premier League: Chelsea vs. Everton
Premier League leaders Chelsea take on a revitalized Everton team, which, despite a defeat against Liverpool on weekend, have climbed to mid-table.
The West Londoners face the Toffees at Goodison Park tonight (20:00 GMT) on a 13 match unbeaten run in all competitions. After a 2-0 victory over Arsenal, Chelsea is leading the league by two points ahead of Manchester United.
Didier Drogba, who scored the winning goal, has performed well against Everton in the past, scoring seven times in nine league and cup games against them.
According to reports, John Terry is fit to captain his team after suffering from a dead leg in Sunday’s encounter with the Gunners. Deco, though, is believed to be out of action due to a knee injury, while Michael Essien, Jose Bosingwa and Juliano Belletti will also be sidelined.
UPDATE: The Toffees shocked Chelsea at Goodison Park as French striker Louis Saha nailed a double to defeat Chelsea, 2-1.
