Premier League Final Day: Chelsea vs. Wigan Athletic [UPDATED]

Chelsea vs Wigan Athletic Live Stream Premier League Final Day

A victory against Wigan Athletic will guarantee Chelsea the Premier League trophy this afternoon and Carlo Ancelotti could make history by being the first manager to lead the Blues to the Double.

Manchester United, currently a point behind Chelsea, have to defeat Stoke City at Old Trafford and hope the Latics can repeat the performance that secured a shock 3-1 victory over the West Londoners last year. The Red Devils hope to set a record with a fourth consecutive championship and go above Liverpool with 19 league victories.

However, Ancelotti says his team deserves to win the title and it would be a great distress if his players slipped up after long months of doing a remarkable job.

For me, the Blues would be worthy champions. They have led the EPL standings for most of the season and they have a perfect record against their “Big Four” rivals this term, beating United, the Gunners and the Reds.

The match kicks-off at 16:00 BST.

UPDATE: The Blues were crowned Premier League champions after drubbing a 10-man Wigan side, 8-0. It is Chelsea’s third league title in six years.
