Premier League: Liverpool vs. Sunderland
Liverpool will meet Sunderland at Anfield on Sunday, March 28th, for the Barclays Premier League.
This game is a much win for Rafa Benitez’s side to tighten the gap between number 4 Tottenham Hotspur and overtake Manchester City in the EPL table. A top four finish is a must for them to be able to play in the Champions League. Liverpool is currently in the sixth place with 51 points and they need to win at least five of their last seven matches. Sunderland, on the other hand, is in 13th place with just 35 points.
The Reds will play against the Black Cats without Fabio Aurelio (thigh) and Martin Skrtel (ankle). For Sunderland, striker Kenwyne Jones remains doubtful on Sunday because of a hip injury together with Andy Reid (hamstring). Captain Lorik Cana is expected to play this afternoon.
The match kicks-off at 16:00 GMT.
