Premier League: Manchester United vs. Bolton Wanderers
The Red Devils hope to put their stumbling Premier League title bid back on track when Bolton Wanderers arrive at Old Trafford this afternoon.
United’s top scorer Wayne Rooney will miss the match after failing to recover from the injury he picked up during the 1-0 defeat by Ukraine on Saturday, while Dimitar Berbatov is still in his homeland following the birth of his child.
However, Goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar would return to the club for the first time this season, having recovering from injury during a friendly with Bayern Munich in July.
There is only one acceptable outcome in this match and that is a home victory. Anything less than three points will be considered a disappointment.
The match kicks-off at 3:00 p.m. BST (8:00 a.m. ET).
UPDATE: The Red Devils beat Bolton 2-1 to return to the top of the Premier League on Saturday after previous leaders Chelsea crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Villa Park.
