Premier League: Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham’s perfect record appears to be in danger as they face reigning champs Manchester United at White Hart Lane later this afternoon.

The Red Devils have drawn two and won six of their last eight Premier League visits to the North London stadium and this is another huge test of Spurs’ domination following their best start to a season since 1960. Victories over Liverpool, Hull City, West Ham and Birmingham have earned them second place in the standings.

Meanwhile Tottenham’s Jermain Defoe and Harry Redknapp have been named the Barclays Player and Manager of the Month following the club’s outstanding record.

Defoe scored a hat-trick at Hull and another goal against West Ham.

The match kicks-off at 5:30 pm (12:30 pm ET).

UPDATE: Despite the Red Devils playing more than 30 minutes with 10 men after Paul Scholes was sent off, they still managed a 3-1 victory that ended Spurs’ perfect start to the season.
