Premier League: Manchester City vs. Everton
Manchester City will meet Everton for their Barclays Premier League match Wednesday night at the City of Manchester Stadium.
City are the only team in the Premier League this season with an unbeaten home record. A win over Everton on Wednesday will make them in the top four spot in the league’s table. Man City are undefeated in their last six matches while winning their last seven.
The Everton squad on the other hand have not won any of their last three road games but have won four of their last five league meetings against Manchester City, including a 2-0 win earlier this season and the 1-0 victory at Eastlands in December 2008.
City will be playing without defender Joleon Lescott due to a hamstring injury while Wayne Bridge will still be sidelined because of a recent hernia operation.
Everton boss David Moyes on the other hand will have a healthy team coming in Wednesday’s match at City of Manchester Stadium with Marouane Fellaini as the only exception. The match kicks-off at 19:45 GMT.
UPDATE: Everton added three points at Eastlands after defeating Manchester City 2-0.
