Premier League: Manchester United vs. Bolton Wanderers
Defending champion Manchester United takes on Bolton Wanderers this afternoon with Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs all fit.
Everything points towards another win for United here. Sir Alex Ferguson’s side will play at the Reebok Stadium looking for a seventh straight victory in all competitions.
Bolton lost 2-1 at Old Trafford in October when an early Zat Knight own goal gave the Red Devils the lead before Antonio Valencia scored his first goal for the club. Matt Taylor replied late on for the Trotters.
Despite the 2-0 defeat to Everton in their most recent game, Bolton, who seem to have been rejuvenated under the leadership of Owen Coyle, have picked up vital points from the teams around them, beating the likes of Wolverhampton, West Ham and Wigan Athletic in recent weeks. So expect an exciting game between these two clubs.
The match kicks-off at 17:30 GMT.
UPDATE: Dimitar Berbatov scored twice as the Red Devils made light of Wayne Rooney’s absence to beat Bolton 4-0 to regain pole position in the EPL.
