Premier League: Manchester United vs. West Ham

The Red Devils meet the Hammers at Upton Park this afternoon (15:00 GMT) in a Premier League match that is important to both sides.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s side will be motivated by the pressure to keep up with Chelsea while West Ham by the desire to move up out of the relegation zone.

The Hammers have conceded eight goals in their past three matches and it is unlikely they will be able to stop the boys from Old Trafford that were so out of control against Portsmouth last week.

The East Londoners are placed 17th in the league table with 14 points, but last time they played against the Clarets and won, thanks to goals from Jack Collison, Guillermo Franco, Carlton Cole, Junior Stanislas and Luis Jiminez.

Tonight West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola is set to be without Valon Behrami after undergoing minor surgery on a knee injury, while Matthew Upson is struggling with a hamstring problem.

Carlton Cole is definitely out, but Kieron Dyer may feature after playing 75 minutes for the reserves on Monday.

UPDATE: The Red Devils maintained the pressure on EPL leaders Chelsea with a convincing 4-0 victory against West Ham.
