Premier League: Wigan Athletic vs. Manchester City

The Citizens have had a good, solid start and being in the 4th spot is a sign of how well they have played. They have scored 12 goals in their last four games and have lost only once this season. A victory this afternoon would see them climb above the Spurs in third place.

However, City’s road form has seen a marked decline lately, and they also have some problems. Kolo Toure is doubtful while Pablo Zabaleta is out. With Robinho already sidelined because of injury, Mark Hughes could be down on numbers at the DW Stadium.

Robinho is still 2 weeks away from a return, Vincent Kompany should be back in full training next week, and Nedum Onuoha is at least a fortnight away.

The Latics, for their part, are strolling along pretty nicely in 12th spot. They do things the right way, so most neutrals will want them to do well.

The match kicks-off at 16:00 BST (11:00 a.m. ET).

UPDATE: Martin Petrov scored a second-half equalizer to rescue a point for the Citizens in a 1-1 draw at Wigan’s DW Stadium.
