Prince William-Kate Middleton Commemorative Condoms, Anyone?
Seems like everyone wants to cash in on the upcoming Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
British company Crown Jewels Condoms of Distinction has come up with a commemorative edition of its prophylactics, which promises “the strength of a Prince” and “the yielding sensitivity of a Princess-to-be.” The commemorative condom’s box has the picture of William and Kate on the front. According to the company’s website, the three-piece condom set is “presented in a timeless souvenir heirloom collector’s box.” Crown Jewels also claims that the Royal Couple’s portrait printed on the box was exclusively created for the company.
The commemorative condom set is just one of several to come out the past couple of months in anticipation of the April 29 wedding of William and Kate. Back in December, the British Royal Mint released commemorative coins, which were met with criticism due to the poor rendering of William and Kate’s likeness. According to the Daily Mail, Kate’s upper lip in the coins was “plumped beyond” recognition, while William’s “Adam’s apple matches the size of his nose.”
