Quaterback Young Cited With Assault for Punching a Man
The quarterback of Tennessee Titans was charged with a Class-C assault citation after video showed that he punched a man in a Dallas strip club early Sunday, June 13.
Vince Young, 27, punched a certain Creiton Kinchen inside an office in Club Onyx. ESPN reports that Kinchen had made derogatory sign and some accusations against the University of Texas, the alma mater of Young. It made Young upset
The fight caused Kinchen a bloody lip but he did not require medical attention.
The Titans said they are aware of what had happened, had already talked to Young and are gathering information. Dallas police said that NFL has already approached them about the incident. NFL, however, is refusing to make any comments about the matter as of the moment.
The citation is punishable by a fine of up to 500 USD.
Young and his attorney, Scotty Allen, cannot be reached as of the meantime for any comments.
