Nadal claimed prize money amounting to €434,000 and 1,000 South African Airways 2010 ATP Rankings point while Verdasco claimed €203,000 and 600 points.

World number three Nadal has 16 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles, in par with Roger Federer and just a few trophies shy of all-time record holder Andre Agassi with 18 titles.
