Randy Jackson Rocks!
Did you know that aside from being Journey‘s bass player, American Idol judge Randy Jackson also had sessions with Carlos Santana and Jerry Garcia?
Well, sometimes he’s annoying but Randy is a brilliant musician and record producer.
He was the bass player on the 1991 self-titled Divinyls album (which features the song “I Touch Myself“) as well as featured bassist on several tracks of Tracy Chapman‘s “Matters of the Heart“.
Jackson has recorded, produced, or toured with many well-known artists and bands, ranging from Mariah Carey to NSYNC, Whitney Houston, Céline Dion, Fergie, Whitesnake and Madonna.
Check out this totally ‘awesome’ video of Randy performing in Journey.
