Reality TV star Jade Goody dies
British reality TV star Jade Goody passed away after her public battle against cervical cancer. PEOPLE reports that she passed away in her sleep on UK’s Mother’s Day, Sunday.
Goody just 27 years old died at her home in Upshire, Essex, at 3:14.
Jade Goody’s publicist and friend told PEOPLE that “She had been pretty much asleep for the last 24 hours.”
Clifford said Goody’s mother Jackiey and husband Jack Tweed were at her side together with Kevin Adams, a family friend.
“I think she’s going to be remembered as a young girl who has, and who will, save an awful lot of lives,” Clifford said.
Jade Goody became famous after she appeared on the British version of the reality TV Show Big Brother in 2002.
