Rehab Updates: Demi Lovato Out, Charlie Sheen In
Seems like rehabilitation and treatment centers are becoming a “hotspot” for celebrities as one young teen star goes out while the highest paid US television primetime comedy actor goes in.
Disney star Demi Lovato, 18, left a treatment house this week after staying for three months. She is now back at her home in Los Angeles. The Camp Rock star voluntarily entered the facility to get help for her “emotional and physical issues”. In the process, she left the Jonas Brothers in a then ongoing world tour.
Reports indicate that her entering the treatment facility was triggered after an “altercation” with a dancer on her concert tour.
Meanwhile, Charlie Sheen entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center Friday, January 28, after reports surfaced that he had a 36-hour drug-and-drink party at his home.
Production of his hit television show Two and a Half Men will be put on hold. CBS said that they support Sheen’s decision to enter rehab. The network recently said that they have a “high level of concern” for the actor’s personal life though they don’t have any problems with him professionally.
