Report: Bret Michaels Out of Hospital
Poison front man Bret Michaels has been released from hospital and would be ready to resume his normal activities in four to six weeks. His doctor, Dr. Joseph Zabramski, said Michaels is now fully conscious but still suffers from spasms and headaches.
However, Zabramski said Michaels will make a full recovery and will not suffer from any long-term effects from a brain hemorrhage that caused his hospitalization on April 22. Michaels was rushed to a hospital after complaining of severe headache. He was later diagnosed with a type of hemorrhage that causes bleeding around the base of the brain.
After two tests, doctors have ruled out aneurysm as the cause of the subarachnoid hemorrhage. Doctors would conduct another test in the coming days in the hopes of finally determining the cause of the hemorrhage. Michaels is still in the running for the top prize on “Celebrity Apprentice.” Doctors said Michaels could appear in the live finale of the show if ever he stave off elimination in the coming weeks.
