Report: Britney Spears Off the Hook on Child Abuse Probe

Britney Spears is not a child beater, contrary to what a former bodyguard claimed in an interview earlier this year, according to an investigation team from the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.

Reports said an investigation on a suspected child abuse case was officially concluded after investigators could not find evidence that Spears indeed beat her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. A source said Spears also received the support of her two sons’ pediatricians, who certified that they have not seen “any signs of abuse” on the singer’s children. The doctors also said that the boys, Spears’ children from former husband and dancer Kevin Federline, are both healthy.

The investigation was initiated earlier this year after Spears’ former bodyguard, Fernando Flores, claimed that he personally saw the singer beat up her two boys with a belt she took from him. Flores’ statement, which was immediately picked up by media, prompted social workers to give Spears a visit.
