Richie Sambora to Enter Rehab
Alcohol is reportedly getting the better of Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora again, prompting the 52-year-old rocker to seek treatment to get his act together.
RadarOnline reported that Sambora is set to check into rehab anew to seek treatment for alcoholism and exhaustion. “Richie recently has been drinking too much, and wants to get his life together,” a source told RadarOnline. It will be the second rehab stint for Sambora in four years, following his one-month stay at the Circque Lodge in 2007. Sambora entered rehab at the time after a barrage of personal problems that included the death of his father and the break up of his marriage to Heather Locklear.
Sambora recently helped Bon Jovi achieve a highly successful tour, which earned the Jersey boys a whopping $201 million in 2010. Sambora’s impending rehab could have implications on Bon Jovi’s continuing tour. The band is reportedly scheduled to play several U.S. gigs in the coming days before moving to Europe in June.
