Robber cleared of attack on designer, guilty on seven others

In another run through of the world’s “huh?!” moments, a man in London had been found innocent of an alleged assault and robbery  charge against fashion designer Nicole Farhi. What makes this kinda weird is that this same man was found guilty of seven other cases of robbery. And if that wasn’t enough, here’s the kicker – his own brother admitted to the charge instead.

Matthew Mykoo, 27, from Brent, London, had been teaming up with his brother, Daniel Mykoo, 28, in carrying out robberies. Farhi told Wood Green crown court that both Mykoos were trying to steal a diamond ring and a Rolex watch she was wearing when the assault occurred.

Matthew allegedly had a knife, while Daniel tried to choke Farhi with his arms.

This, apparently, was the deciding facet, as Matthew was cleared of charges from this assault.
