Robot solves Rubik’s Cube in a little over 10 seconds [VIDEO]
Here’s a robot that can solve the Rubik’s Cube in just 10.18 seconds. Nicknamed Ruby, the puzzle solving machine scans each face of the cube using a webcam and applies a software algorithm to solve the puzzle.
Developed by a bunch of nerds at Swinburne University Of Technology in Melbourne, Ruby is the fastest Rubik’s Cube-solving robot so far. However, the fastest human time for solving the iconic puzzle is 6.24 seconds, held by Australian speedsolver Feliks Zemdegs. Ruby will be exhibited on August 21st at Swinburne’s Open Day.
