Ron Artest shows off Dennis Rodman-like yellow hairstyle (video)
Ron Artest debuted a new do on Sunday during the Los Angeles Lakers‘ 96-94 loss to the Orlando Magic. His hair is a bright shade of blond and features several inscriptions. Across his head, Ron got the word “defense” dyed in purple in Japanese, Hebrew and Hindi.
“I’m a big Dennis Rodman fan,” the 2004 NBA Defensive Player of the Year said. I’ve been a fan since he was in the NBA, even when he was in the midst of his controversies and when he was winning championships. I’ve been with Dennis through bad and good. That’s never going to change. Ever.”
However, Ron’s defense was poor against the Magic. His assignment, Vince Carter, scored 25 points, including 10 points on free throws in the first period.
