Samuel L. Jackson Says Sorry to Naomi Watts Over Sex Scene

Samuel L. Jackson has apologized to Naomi Watts for the uncomfortable situation that ensued during the shooting of their sex scene for the movie “Mother and Child.” Jackson, a veteran of more than 100 movies, admitted that he did not know what to do during a scene where Watts is trying to seduce him.

“For me as an actor, I don’t know how to do that sort of thing in a room full of people, and I tend to ask a lot of questions. Where can I touch you? Where can I not touch you? I’m sorry if I get excited, I’m sorry if I don’t… But Naomi really took charge,” Jackson said. The scene was done on the first day of shooting, making it more uncomfortable for Jackson, who reveals that he had never had any interaction with Watts prior to the sex scene although he knows her husband Liev Schreiber.

Watts appears stark naked in several scenes in the r-rated film where the actress plays a lawyer who uses her body to get what she wants. Jackson plays Watts’ boss, with whom she starts an affair the moment she learns that he is trying to start one with another woman. “Mother and Child” is set for a limited release in the U.S. on May 7.
