Serie A: AC Milan vs. AS Bari

AS Bari returns to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza tonight to face AC Milan after a deserved draw with Inter in the opening week of the Italian football season.

The Biancorossi have had a good start to Serie A and only a defeat on Wednesday at the hands of Cagliari has disappointed the Apulian side.

Milan’s lineup will not change much from the one which suffered defeat to Udinese, although the big question will be whether or not to start Klaas Jan Huntelaar or stick with Pippo Inzaghi.

Meanwhile Brazilian star Alexandre Pato has signed a new five-year contract at San Siro, according Adriano Galliani, Milan’s vice-president.

While financial details of the new deal were not divulged, it is believed to be a better contract to keep the 20-year-old striker out of the clutches of other European clubs.

Pato got off to a great start this season, scoring a double in Rossoneri’s 2-1 opening day victory at Siena. However, he has failed to find the net in four matches since, and was substituted early in the second period of Wednesday’s defeat at Stadio Friuli.

The match kicks-off at 8:45 PM CET (2:45 PM ET).

UPDATE: Milan showed a mediocre performance Sunday night at San Siro and just managed a scoreless draw against the Biancorossi.
