The young actors of “Slumdog Millionaire” will take their first airplane trip after gaining last minute tickets to the Academy Awards.

“The kids are on their way to the Oscars! Everyone is very excited,” the film’s director Danny Boyle wrote to Daily News in an email on Friday.

All nine actors who played the younger and middle versions of stars Dev Patel, Freida Pinto and Madhur Mittal will attend the Oscars at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday, Fox Searchlight Pictures confirmed.

“I’m very happy that I’m going to the Oscars,” 9-year-old Rubina Ali (Latika) said. “My friends are saying ‘Your fate is so good’.”

“I’m not scared,” she added. “I’m going to take a lot of pictures and show them to people over here.”

“Slumdog Millionaire” has been nominated for 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. It already has won at the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild, and the BAFTAs.
