Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 unveiled


Sony Ericsson officially unveiled on Wednesday their new smart phone, the Xperia X2. The Xperia X2 will be one of the first phones to run on Windows Mobile 6.5, bringing new features such as Flash support in Internet Explorer Mobile and Microsoft’s app store, and the Windows Marketplace for Mobile.

There is still no specific release date or pricing but according to Sony Ericsson, it will be available in select markets in early Q4.

Here are some of the other features of the Xperia X2:

  • Tri-band UMTS/HSPA connectivity (900/1900/2100 MHz, or 850/1900/2100 MHz for the X2a)
