Sony unveils A77 DSLR camera
Images of Sony’s A77 DSLR camera with clear plastic body have begun circulating but we’re still uncertain if the production model will look like this. The Tokyo-based company made this mockup to draw attention to the cam’s new translucent mirror technology, its newly developed “Exmor” APS HD CMOS sensors and its real-time autofocus capability whether capturing stills or video.
The A77, which will be working in the 20 megapixel range, is slated to ship later this year, for how much we don’t know. However, more details for those who speak Japanese can be found on this site.
The best way to see how gadgets work is by making the casings clear, so we hope this is what the finished product will look like.
