At less than half an inch thick and just weighing 1.5 pounds, Sony Vaio X could be one of the thinnest ultra-portable notebooks out there. It also has a carbon fiber exterior that should make it more durable than its competitors.

The official specs of this 11-incher will be announced in October and units will be available for retail soon after the much awaited Windows 7 launch.
